The Elite U15 boys were finalists at the recent Chelsea FC CASL Shootout in North Carolina. CASL Raleigh Shootout is a nationally recognized tournament that accepts the nation’s top ranked teams and is visited by hundreds of college scouts.  SFE’s boys played the top division in the U15 age group.  SFE started the weekend on a wet and windy Saturday and our boys came through the first day of competition with 2 wins; a 3-0 victory over the Richmond Strikers SC Elite and a 2-0 win over #3 ranked Georgia, Cobb FC Chiefs Premier.  On Sunday, field conditions improved and SFE defeated #3 ranked Maryland Potomac SA Real 3-0.  The boys entered the final against #8 nationally ranked Olney Rangers. The teams engaged in a defensive struggle until Olney struck a late goal for a 1-0 win.  Our boys will soon have a chance for redemption as they will face Olney in the first round at the upcoming Disney Showcase in December.  CONGRATULATIONS TO CHARLIE AND OUR BOYS!!!
