U14s & U15s Win Disney Showcase Qualifier, U11s & U12s Win Tampa’s Black Watch Tournament
(September, 2008)--South Florida Elite Futbol Club stormed into Labor Day weekend, winning the U-14 and U-15 divisions at the Disney Showcase Qualifier and the U-11 and U-12 divisions at Tampa’s Black Watch tournament. The Club went an incredible 20-0 for the weekend. SFE’s coaches were delighted at the outcome. "Our kids have worked very hard this summer to stay in shape and to improve their technical skills," remarked DOC Pitu Alvarez. "We still have a long way to go, but that hard work is paying off, " said DOC Charles Freitas.

Coach Christian Block, who coached the U11 and U12 teams, could not be happier for his players, "I am so proud of our kids. They were focused from start to finsh and achieved their goals for Orlando and Tampa. This is a fantastic start for our second-year."
