PARENTS/SPECTATORS:
By participating in SFE events, each parent or spectator agrees as follows:
1. I will encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches, game officials, and administrators at all times.
2. I will place the emotional and physical well being of all players ahead of any personal desire to win.
3. I will support the coaches, officials, and administrators working with my child, in order to encourage a positive and enjoyable experience for all.
4. I will remember that the game is for the players, not for the adults.
5. I will ask my child to treat other players, coaches, game officials, administrators, and fans with respect.
6. I will always be positive.
7. I will always allow the coach to be the only coach, by refraining from coaching from the sidelines.
8. I will not enter into arguments with the other team’s parents, players, or coaches.
9. I will not enter the field of play for any reason during the game.
10. I will not criticize game officials.
11. I will not speak to the coach before, during or after a game or practice about any soccer related matters.
13. I will wait on the parent side of the field for my child to be released by the coach after any game or training session.
14. Alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco products and unauthorized prescription drugs shall not be possessed, consumed or distributed before, during, after the game or at any other time at the field and/or game complex.
15. No weapons are permitted at any time at the field and/or game complex.
Failure to comply may result in, among other things, the suspension of your privilege to participate in SFE and/or FYSA sanctioned events. SFE reserves the right to impose penalties for misconduct, in addition to those imposed by the league.
